Commentary From The Cedar Lounge Revolution

19th June 2017

Many thanks to the person who forwarded this to the Archive.

This is another edition of Republican News to add to the number already in the Archive from the early 1970s.

It is perhaps of most interest in relation to articles within on Internment and an appeal for supporters not to vote in the council elections.

This latter argues that:

They also hope that by drag gin in the ‘reformed’ N.L.F. [Officials] and their supporters on the safe ground of parliamentary politics and in turn by offering some say in the running of the state to the quisling SDLP, that they will convince the Catholic working class that they will have gained some control over their own affairs.
