About

The Irish Family Planning Association is a charity that campaigns on and offers services and information about sexuality, sexual health, reproduction and related rights. It was initiated in 1969, when a clinic was set up providing contraception, in response to the blanket ban in the state at that time. It has been involved in several contraception and abortion rights campaigns since.
