Commentary From The Cedar Lounge Revolution

24th December 2018

Many thanks to the person who forwarded this to the Archive.

This joins other materials from the WSM in the Archive. The focus of this four page document is on No Deportations, but another article on the reverse side engages with the need to ‘Fight anti-Traveller Racism’. There’s also a short piece on the need to organise. A longer piece links Anarchism with ‘a history of anti-racism’ and is framed by a quote from Bakunin which notes ‘What do we mean by respect for humanity? We mean the recognition of human right and human dignity in every man, of whatever race (or) colour’.

It argues that:

The contribution Irish anarchist have made to building the anti-racist movements here is part of an international movement and tradition stretching back over 100 years.
